Shadow Gods Slots
Anubis and Horus are key figures in Shadow Gods slot. They serve as expanding wilds that appear on the fourth and second reels, respectively. Join us as we take a closer look at this Ancient Egypt slot and the value of these two.
The Paytable and Symbols
Two of the symbols in Shadow Gods pay a prize with two or more matches. They’re the highest-paying symbols.
Anubis – 2, 20, 80, or 800 coins
Cleopatra – 2, 20, 80, or 500 coins
The remaining symbols require three matching symbols.
Asp or Scarab – 10, 50, or 200 coins
Ace and King – 10, 20, or 100 coins
Queen and Jack – 5, 10, or 80 coins
10 and 9 – 5, 10, and 50 coins
King Tut’s Mask is a scatter and pays 2x, 10x or 100x. That’s multiplied by your total bet, not the line bet.
The Bonus Features
You have two choices when three or more King Tut’s Masks appear. Play the Wild Reels Bonus or the Treasure Spins.
Wild Reels: Win 6 free spins where Horus and Anubis reels are held on each spin.
Treasure Spins: Win 6 free spins where Reel 5 is filled with Coins and held on each spin.
The reels also have Gold Coins that appear from time to time. When six appear on the reels at the same time, the Coin Feature begins. You receive three re-spins with the triggering Coins frozen in place. Add more to them and the re-spins counter resets to three. This bonus ends when you run out of re-spins or fill every space on the reels. You win the cash value of all the coins at that point. If all 15 spaces were filled with Coins, you win the Grand Bonus.
Our Experience Playing Shadow Gods
With 50 paylines, we expected that many of our spins would be winners. How did our 10 spins at $5 per spin ($50 total stake) go? Not one spin was a winner.
We kept going to see how long it would take and finally won on our 15th spin. We won our choice of bonus rounds and opted for the free spins with a Coin Hold bonus. By the end of the game, we’d won $76.50 and gained back our stake plus $1.50.
